Oregon Area 58 7/14 Day CHALLENGE July 14th 2016
In 2015 GSO provided services to 1,348,072 A.A. members at a cost of $9,518,499. That’s $7.14 per A.A. member for the whole year! If every member contributed $7.14 one time, it would support all of GSO Group Services for one year.
Oregon Area’s A.A. membership of 22,378 could cover the cost of almost 1/3 of all the Correction services provided by GSO last year!
Here’s how the challenge works:
Groups pass a Special Basket or Can* in addition to the regular 7th Tradition. On or before July 14th, each member contributes $7.14 (or round it up to $8 to help those who can’t).
$7.14 on 7/14 — easy to remember!
On July 14th each group treasurer collects the contents of the can or basket and writes a check (or money order) ** for the amount contributed. E-mail the amount to your delegate, Reilly K, so she can keep track. A58reillyk@gmail.com
