Hello D5!!!!
It was announced at the November Assembly that the Area has made a formal name change to “Oregon Area General Service Committee”. The Alternate Treasurer has contacted me and said that she has received a number of checks from D5 made out to the wrong name and is unable to cash them at this time.
I will be receiving a list of groups, check numbers, and amounts so that we can get these corrected. I will be in contact with your group once I have this information as needed.
PLEASE tell your group treasurer’s to make this change in their records. Please make checks payable to: Oregon Area General Service Committee.
As the legal name for the District 5 has changed as well ny checks made out to the District for contributions should be made out to District 5 Committee. Please have your group treasurer make note of this as well.
