NEWS FROM THE CHAIR
The Entertainment Committee has been on the mind of the Advisory Board since the decision to sever became a reality. The decision was not taken lightly and was a financial decision only, as we were not receiving the proper accounting that we needed to function as a non-profit organization.
On Tuesday, October 1st I called an emergency meeting of the Advisory Board to address this issue again with the current trusted servants of the Entertainment Committee.
This is the result of that meeting:That we will work as a unified entity to bring sober entertainment to our AA Community.
The name will be Central Oregon Intergroup Entertainment Committee.
The bank account will have the signatures of the Intergroup Chair, Intergroup Treasurer, Entertainment Treasurer and Entertainment Chair.We encourage all groups to announce events in their meetings.
We need more members to serve on the committee, bring their entertainment ideas and to help work the events. It takes the whole community unified to make this happen and I am confident that we will make this a huge success!!I am always available to take your questions.
