Conference Call AA Meeting
What to expect?
Instructions This is on the phone not the computer.
● Call in 5 minutes early as to make sure we get you on the list for sharing
● Simply dial phone number 425-436-6335
● The pin/access code is 178432
● When you are transfered through, state your name and Home Group, so
we know who you are, as we are unable to see your face
● Make sure to mute your phone unless you’re asked to read or share
Because our phones will all be muted, we will not all thank each reader, or
say hi to each reader.
● The secretary will start the meeting promptly on time. If you are late,
please feel free to join us, but do not interrupt the meeting by announcing
yourself. Just put your phone on mute.
What is the format?
We will do a few readings from AA literature, welcome anyone new, and ask for any AA
milestones being celebrated. Our speaker will share their story with us for about 20
minutes. What they were like, what happened, and what they are like now. (During this
time, please keep your phone on mute). The speaker will then choose a topic from the
1st 164 pages of the Big Book. When the speaker is finished, the secretary will then call
on people to share. If your name is called, please unmute your phone, identify yourself
by your first name, and your Home Group. Share on what you identified with, or the
topic from what was read. Please keep your share under 3 minutes. If you make it to 3
minutes, you will hear the timmer. At that point, please wrap it up.
When?
Mon-Fri at 12:00 noon and Sat at 10:30am
This is a meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous and in order to participate one must identify
as an alcoholic, or someone who thinks they may have a drinking problem and would like
to stop. Again this is not a meeting of All-Addictions Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous,
Al-Anon, or any other Anonymous Fellowship including Coronavirus Anonymous. We
ask all who participate confine their discussion to their problems with alcohol.
