Treasurer’s report was given and approved as presented. Liz pointed out that her commitment is over in December. The question was asked about requirements for the position. It is a 2-year term. A review of the By-Laws was requested regarding additional information on the Treasurer’s Job.

C. Committee Reports:

Al-Anon: Pam said that the Al-Ateen meeting during the Potluck speaker was very successful. She thanked everyone for their support and assistance. There is a new Al-Anon beginners meeting at the Presbyterian Church on 9th Street at 5:00 on Mondays.

District 5 Liaison: 35 people attended the anonymity meeting. Judy S is now the new Public Information (PI) Chair for District 5.

Entertainment: Suttle Lake Campout was a huge success. It was the largest Suttle Lake Campout she could remember attending. Flyers were passed out for the End of Summer Picnic. It will be held at Sam Johnson’s Park in Redmond on Saturday September 17th. The next committee meeting will be held on September 8th at Lurlyne’s house (1135 SW 24th Redmond) at 7:00pm.

Schedules: Please email changes by September 15 to get into the new October schedules. E-mail changes to Mikey at Central Office.

Website: Site is updated. Cory handed out the website traffic report. The Redmond Alano Club is building a website and would like to link with the Intergroup website. Added to New Business.

D. Old Business:

Mikey had asked the IGR’s to take back to the groups the changing contributions from a quarterly basis to monthly. Some groups increased their contributions and will contribute monthly, however some groups declined to contribute monthly as quarterly works better within their Treasury.

E. New Business:

The Redmond Alano Club would like to link their new website to the Intergroup website. Dave W made a motion to bring back to the groups since the Alano Club is an outside Entity. Cory will look at other IGR sites to review their links. The new site should be looked at the see their content. It is still under construction. Kathi C (DCM) noted that GSO has a policy on clubs and can be viewed on their website. There was much discussion pro and con.

Adjournment:

Meeting was adjourned at 6:24pm. The next meeting will be at 5:30 p.m., August 28, 2011 in Bend at TEC.

Yours in Service,

Pattie O
